NeF Capital Group uses a variety of collection approaches depending on the type of case we are handling. Consumer debtors are approached differently than commercial debtors. NSF checks are not handled in the same manner as checks written on closed accounts. Delinquent open invoices are handled in a manner that takes your history with the debtor and the debtor’s reaction to us into consideration.
Every case benefits from the structure that our unique strategies provide. Every collection plan involves regular frequent debtor contact by letter and telephone, at a minimum. Where it is allowed by law, we use faxes and email to convince commercial debtors that they need to deal with their debt promptly. You don’t have the time to focus on your debtors the way we do: that is our only business.
No matter how good the plan is, it will not be effective if it is not applied by talented collectors. We employ experienced professionals. We know how to find missing debtors. We know how to break down the obstacles and get past excuses used by debtors who don’t want to discuss or resolve these issues. We know how to operate as problem solvers. We are very, very persuasive.
At the same time, our collectors treat everybody with respect. We build relationships with debtors. Often, we are thanked by the debtors that we deal with because they are not confronted by aggressive, obnoxious, threatening, or dishonest collectors. Our people are often able to save your relationship with your clients or customers.
We are also very good at shielding your employees from angry or abusive debtors. When they call your office, politely refer them to us. We can usually diffuse an angry situation.
